Your Privacy is Treated with the Same Care We Bring to Our Work

We only collect what we need to understand your situation and get back to you. This happens in one place: the contact and consultation forms on this site (on the homepage, Contact page, About page, and each service page). When you fill one out, we collect:

• Your full name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• The service you're interested in
• Anything you choose to share in the optional message field

If you go on to become a client, we also keep notes from our calls and conversations so we can pick up where we left off each time and give you consistent, informed support. We do not ask for financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, or medical record numbers through this website, and we ask that you not include those in the contact form either. Save those details for a direct, private conversation.

We keep this list short on purpose, because it's short in reality. We use:

• Netlify (our website hosting provider): every page you view and every form you submit passes through Netlify's infrastructure to reach us. Netlify's own privacy policy governs how they handle that technical traffic.
• Cloudflare: sits in front of our website for basic security and speed, for example filtering malicious traffic before it ever reaches our host. Cloudflare sees standard connection information, like your IP address, as part of that filtering, the same way any website's security layer does.
• Google Analytics: we use Google Analytics (GA4) to see basic, aggregate information about how people use this website: which pages get visited, how the site performs, and roughly how many people are finding us. This is a real, active part of our website and we want to say so plainly rather than bury it. See the Cookies section below for what this actually sets on your device, and see "Your Rights" for how to opt out.

We do not use any advertising network, retargeting pixel, CRM platform, email marketing tool, chat widget, or payment processor on this website. If that ever changes, we will update this policy before it does, not after.

Being direct here matters more to us than sounding impressive. This site sets:

• Google Analytics cookies (typically named _ga and _ga_XXXXXXX): these help Google Analytics recognize repeat visits in aggregate so we can see general traffic patterns. They are not used to build an advertising profile of you, and we don't combine them with anything else we know about you.
• No advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind.
• No cookie-consent banner is currently shown on this site. We're disclosing that plainly rather than pretending otherwise. You can block or delete Analytics cookies at any time using your browser's cookie settings, or install Google's own Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Doing so does not affect your ability to use the site or contact us.

If you reach out but don't become a client, we keep your contact form submission for a limited time, long enough to follow up with you, and no longer than necessary after that. If you become a client, we keep your file and communication notes for as long as we're actively working together, plus a reasonable period afterward in case you reach back out or we're required to retain records for professional or legal reasons. We delete or de-identify information we no longer have a real reason to keep.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Period. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. The only outside parties who ever see it are the service providers named above, and only to the extent needed to run this website and respond to you, not to market to you on our behalf.

We collect and use your information because you gave it to us directly by filling out a form and asking us to respond, a legitimate, direct request, and because we have a legitimate interest in understanding, in aggregate, how our website is being used so we can keep it useful. We do not currently rely on a cookie-consent banner for the Analytics cookies described above; if you'd prefer we not use them for your visit, please use the opt-out method described above.

You have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that's inaccurate.
• Ask us to delete your information, other than what we're required to keep for a legitimate business or legal reason.
• Opt out of Analytics cookies or any non-essential communication from us at any time.

We are based in the United States, and the service providers named above (Netlify, Cloudflare, Google) operate infrastructure that may process data in the United States or other countries where they maintain servers. We do not currently target or knowingly collect information from visitors outside the United States. If that changes, we will update this section to reflect any additional protections that apply.

We take reasonable, standard precautions to protect your information. Our site is served over HTTPS, our hosting and security providers apply their own industry-standard safeguards, and only the people directly involved in your support have access to your file. That said, no website or method of transmitting information over the internet is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. We will tell you promptly if we ever learn of a breach affecting your information.
